Quiver's Story
Quiver is stationed near Long Beach Island, N.J. The story behind Quiver is one of my own. The word Quiver was what my 8th grade wood shop teacher would call his collection of retro surfboards, his old school eighties punk Powell-Peralta skateboard decks, and wooden blocks which he called surfboards (these blocks have now been made famous since Rob Machado and Kelly are ripping on them). I took the word QUIVER as a way of life, rather than a bunch of boards in various shapes and fin set ups. The way we define Quiver is a group of free surfers whose only goal is to get closer to the curl, and become in touch with the water, where their souls belong.
